Guillermo Aristizabal

In many emergencies, having access to a drone can provide a substantial advantage by having an eye in the sky, which provides superior situational awareness. Guillermo and his fellow experienced drones preppers will discuss advantages and disadvantages of using drones in various situations. We will have a live demonstration of the drones capabilities and show some beautiful aerial footage.

Bio: Guillermo Aristizabal

Guillermo is a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for wilderness living and self-sufficiency. Three years ago, he purchased a micro-drone to take photos and videos of off-grid wilderness properties in Northern Ontario. His passion for flying drones grew to include programming automated drone mapping missions and creating 2D maps and 3D reality models of wilderness land, as well as city landscapes. His experience mapping with drones opened a new career opportunity. His new job involves researching and implementing new technologies, including drones, to provide more cost-effective solutions to clients in the construction industry.
